When Indri Single Malt Whisky collaborated with House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, it brought together two worlds defined by legacy and storytelling.
In partnership with Warner Bros. and timed with the launch of House of the Dragon Season 2, the brief was to create packaging and creative assets for two limited-edition expressions, one peated and one
non-peated.

The Challenge
The task was to merge Indri’s Indian provenance with the cinematic world of House of the Dragon, creating distinct yet connected visual stories for the two distinct single malts.
The Strategic Approach
Our idea of House of Black and House of Green drew inspiration from the two rival factions, Targaryens and Hightowers.
Each sigil became the anchor of the design, appearing across the monocarton and bottle neck. Motifs such as swords for House of Black and flames for House of Green evolved into intricate patterns with refined metallic typography. The illustrated landscapes of King’s Landing and Westeros bridged the world of fantasy with the artistry of fine whisky.
The outcome was packaging that stood out in retail, evoked emotion on unboxing, and extended seamlessly into all creative assets to form one cohesive story.

Molten golds, emerald hues and architectural motifs drawn from the Hightower emblem symbolised legacy and faith, with the Westeros landscape adding warmth and vitality.

Airport collaterals, films, POSM and print campaigns expanded the visual language,
translating the design narrative into cinematic storytelling.
