Whistler Whisky required a complete rebrand to align with its evolved blend and its philosophy of “Your True Spirit.” Inspired by the melodious Whistler bird that often visited their distillery, the brand wanted to honour this connection through a refreshed look, story and strategy. With the new blend crafted to be richer and smoother, the task was to create packaging, collaterals and a digital presence that resonated with everyday drinkers who seek authenticity in their drink of choice.

The Challenge
The product had evolved into a more premium, smoother blend. The challenge was to ensure the packaging and brand story mirrored that evolution - approachable yet refined, contemporary yet rooted in authenticity.
The Strategic Approach
Our research uncovered that the Whistler bird’s melodic call cuts through the noise of the jungle, a sound that travels far and remains distinct. That became our insight. For everyday drinkers, Whistler is the pause from life’s noise, helping them connect with their true spirit.
The beautiful bird found expression in the product and packaging. Its natural colours of black and yellow were reimagined with vibrant tones of red, blue, white and black, bringing energy and life to the design. Modern typography added clarity and strength. This language extended across all brand assets, from key visuals and POSMs to glorifiers, festive and twin packs, stall designs and launch collaterals.

The website design hero banner featured our launch video narrating the brand story, followed by the key visual, tasting notes, product attributes, and awards and recognitions - creating a seamless, immersive digital experience.
