Rockwell isn’t new to the waters. Since 1986, it has been quietly powering India’s cold chain, enabling brands, safeguarding supply chains, and preserving what truly matters.
When Rockwell came aboard StoryBoats, the brief wasn’t loud or flashy. It was clear and confident.
To evolve their brand identity to reflect who they have become today: modern, efficient, innovation-led.

The Challenge
Rockwell operates in the industrial refrigeration and cold chain solutions space, an industry where functionality often overshadows identity.
Most players speak in specs, tonnage, and temperature ranges. The language is technical, transactional, and interchangeable. In a sea of similar offerings, brands often blur into one another, becoming invisible despite doing critical work behind the scenes.
To the consumer, Rockwell could easily be reduced to “a box that cools.”
The real question was: did we want to sell a better box, or build a stronger brand?
The Strategic Approach
At StoryBoats, we believe every brand already has a direction. Our job is to help set the sails right.
We began at the core, revisiting Rockwell’s identity to ensure it reflected their present and pointed toward their future. The logo was refined into a sleeker, more contemporary form, while retaining its equity. The four colours, yellow, red, green, and blue, are the carriers of meaning, each representing a key brand value.
From there, we aligned language, tone, and visual presence across touchpoints. The introduction of the tagline Next-Gen Cooling Solutions anchored this transformation, positioning Rockwell not just as a legacy brand, but as one that is actively shaping what comes next.
